Rebuilding a 250,000 square foot contingency warehouse operation

VHA’s largest COVID-19 contingency warehouse distributed $1.2M of medical supplies to 172 hospitals with no agreed process baseline. We ran the work study, built the process flow diagram the improvement working group used as its baseline, and developed the KPIs aimed at supply chain defects.
